Bonne Bouche is a luxury wine and dessert pairing experience based in Paris. This experience is curated and presented by wine and dessert aficionado, Monique Benoit. She is a certified Sommelier who graduated from the International Culinary Center in New York City. This experience is a luxury spin off of goûter, French Tea Time, where the finest patisseries from all around Paris are paired with a variety of great French wines such as Champagne. All desserts change according to the season and holidays. Monique presents the most trendy and authentic desserts.
Bonne Bouche is a luxury experience because all desserts are chosen from well known, upscale bakeries where a dessert spread includes old world and modern French desserts from well known pastry chefs. Each dessert is paired seamlessly with the appropriate dessert wine, introducing a new way of enjoying these confections.
Monique describes each dessert, the history of where the patisseries are from, and its origins. She tastes and describes the wines, giving her guests a synopsis of wine tasting, the regions they are from, and the reason why they pair well with certain desserts. It is not only an experience of eating and drinking, but a fun way of learning the history of France’s sweet history by mouth. Celebrating what makes France the sweetest spot in the world.
No detail is overlooked including the dining table setting. Monique is obsessed with Brocante shopping and feels that presentation is everything. From the linens, fine china, crystal wine glasses, and exquisite dessert trays. Every detail is there to give guests a full esthetic experience.
Bonne Bouche is a private group experience which includes all wine and desserts. This event is conducted in English. It lasts approximately 2 hours. An exact meeting point will be sent to you once you are booked.
